The Hawke’s Bay Hawks are thrilled to announce the return of Clifton Bush III for the 2025 Sal’s National Basketball League (NBL) season. After a challenging 2024 season, where he played only one game as he continued his recovery from a knee injury, Bush is now back and looking better than ever.
Known for his natural scoring ability, Bush has shown flashes of brilliance for the Hawks over the years. Now, after a dedicated rehabilitation process, the athletic forward is primed to take his game to the next level. With his improved fitness and sharpness heading into the 2025 season, Bush has the potential for a breakout year as he continues to elevate his impact on the court.
Hawks General Manager Jarrod Kenny expressed his confidence in Bush’s return, “Clifton has worked incredibly hard to get back to full strength, and we’re excited to see him return to his best.
